February Half Term Activities in Herefordshire 2024

Black and White House Museum

Fairytale trail at Berrington Hall National Trust, Saturday 10th – Sunday 18th February  

Admission cost applies  + Trails cost £3 per child and include a bag, colouring sheet, colouring pencils, and a prize. Booking not required. 

The elves and the shoemaker have been busy crafting some creative winter wellies inspired by their visit to Berrington Hall. Explore the trail to spot all of the wellies along the way!

February Family Fun at the Museum Resource and Learning Centre, 12th -16th February 10.30am-3pm

Come visit the 20th Century! See toys, costumes and objects; take part in craft activities and listen to story time every day at 11am.

Garden Gnome Trail at Croft Castle National Trust, Saturday 10- Sunday 18th Feb 10am – 5pm

Spring Flowers Children’s Trail at The Weir Garden National Trust – Saturday 10th – Sunday 18th February, 10.30am – 4.30pm

Admission cost applies + Trails cost £3 per pack and include a bag, colouring sheet, colouring pencils, and a prize. Booking not required.

Come and explore the signs of spring as the Weir Garden wakes from winter and complete activities as you go!

The Wassail Trail at Brockhampton National Trust –Saturday 10th –  Sunday 18th February, 10am – 5pm

Admission cost applies + Trails cost £3 per person and include a bag, colouring sheet, colouring pencils, and a prize. Booking not required

Take a stroll through the orchards at Brockhampton and discover the age-old tradition of awakening the fruit trees ready for the next harvest. Pick up your trail sheet from visitor reception, spotting the signs and completing the activities as you go.

Half Term WoW events  

This half term explore some of the Winter of Wellbeing (WoW) events. The WoW sessions offer families who may be feeling the pinch, the opportunity to enjoy free activities in a warm, friendly environment with free hot food and a drink, as well as the chance to access information and advice to support them around the cost of living. 

Cup Ceramics, HerefordMonday 12th February, 3.45pm – 5.15pm

‘Play with clay’, get hands on with clay and learn some basic techniques. Please book your free session via the Cup Ceramics website.

The Core, HerefordMonday 12th & Friday 16th February, 11am – 1pm.
Enjoy family activities, roller skating and food.
