New hub launching in Bridstow, Ross-on-Wye

06 July 2022

Coffee and cake

Bridstow Village Hall is launching a brand new Talk Community hub on 9th July 2022.

Local people are invited to come along to Bridstow Village Hall’s hub coffee morning on 9th July at 10.30am, where they will be able to drop by for a cuppa and a tasty slice of cake – it’s a fantastic way to meet your friends and neighbours!

Bridstow Village Hall

£3 will buy a refillable tea/coffee and a piece of cake, with the chance to participate in a raffle at £1 strip.

The volunteer-led hub means you’ll be able to access lots of supportive health and wellbeing information and get to know what’s on in your local community at the same time. Volunteers will also be able to help people access the Talk Community Directory, which is the perfect way to stay connected to information and community services, groups and activities in your area.

Carrie Jones, Bridstow Village Hall Secretary said “As a Talk Community Hub, we want to help combat loneliness and isolation, especially following the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. We want to bring the community together and build community spirit.”

Bridstow Village is located in Bridstow, Ross-On-Wye, HR9 6PZ and can be contacted on 07708261380 or Bridstowvillagehall@gmail.com
