Walford Community Support Scheme

Walford Community Support Scheme supports anyone who is in need of practical help and companionship in the Parish of Walford.

As a group of volunteers, we support parishioners who are in need of a helping hand either on a temporary or long term basis. The scheme supports people with transportation to appointments, shopping trips, small gardening tasks and dog walking. We encourage everyone to engage in our social gatherings and local excursions.

We provide our scheme participants with a regular welfare and befriending call and everyone can be assured of being made to feel welcome and part of our community.

Talk Community Hub

We're also part of a network of Talk Community Hubs across Herefordshire.  Our friendly, volunteer run hub offers regular coffee mornings, lunch clubs, seated exercise classes and craft sessions, alongside signposting to services, groups and activities in the local area or countywide.
