St Peter's and St James' Church

As one of the central Church of England Churches in the heart of Hereford, we are pleased to offer Baptisms, Christenings, Weddings and Funerals, along with Sunday worship and prayer every day. If there is anything we can do to support you, please give us a call.

We welcome everyone regardless of sexuality, health, colour, nationality, faith, wealth or dress-sense.

We offer opportunities to meet friends, Messy Church, family activities, community lunches, craft groups and Sunday services.

  • Sunday services
    • 8:45am at St James' Church (Holy communion with hymns)
    • 10am at St Peter's 
    • 10:30am at St James' (including children's groups)

  • Online services
    • The 10am St Peter's Sunday service is streamed live on our Facebook page 

  • Access Youth Club at St James' Church
    • Weekly on Sunday evenings 6:30pm to 7:30pm for those in secondary school

  • St Peter's Church Talk Community Hub offering a safe place where you can access free wellbeing information and signposting to local services, groups or activities, both in Hereford and across the county
    • Every Monday 11am to 2pm (excluding bank holidays)

  • Messy Church at St James' Church
    • Second Monday of the month from 3:15pm
