Putson Baptist Church

Putson Baptist Church is situated in south Hereford, in the heart of the Putson area and is committed to supporting those of all ages which live in the local community. There is a variety of activities that run from the church, so there is something for everyone.

We are part of a network of Talk Community Hubs across the county, providing a safe place where you can access information, guidance and signposting to activities, services and groups. Come and talk to our friendly volunteers and be connected into your local community.

The Gap is a weekly drop in, run by volunteers, where you can come and meet people and have a natter, whilst enjoying a tea or coffee and cake. Our Talk Community Hub session runs alongside The Gap, so if there is something you would like to ‘find out and be connected to’, then the volunteers are on hand to help. Please note this is currently not in operation due to Covid restrictions.

However, our friendly Talk Community Hub volunteers are on hand to give information or signpost to services at the exciting virtual events being rolled out via zoom. If you would like to attend a Men’s Curry Night, Stay and Play or a Pamper Session, then email pastor@putsonbaptistchurch.co.uk.

Stay and Play is a group for parents or carers with children under the age of five. It is an opportunity for the grown up’s to have a coffee and a chat with other parents /carers and for children to explore the soft play equipment, get involved in craft activities or just enjoy play activities. The volunteers from the Talk Community Hub will be on hand during these sessions, if there is anything you would like to find out about. Please note this is currently not in operation due to Covid restrictions.

Friendship Group is a social group that runs weekly for people over the age of 65. If you would like to make friends and get to know others in your local area, then pop along for a hot drink and a chat. We occasionally invite speakers to these sessions, so please let us know if there is something you would be interested in hearing more about. Please note this is currently not in operation due to Covid restrictions.

Lunch Club runs twice a month on a Friday. It's a great place to socialise, make new friends and have a lovely two course meal, all for only £3.50. Please note this is currently not in operation due to Covid restrictions.

Kids Club is a weekly group suitable for children aged 5 to 11 and is a time for children to have fun, enjoying a range of activities, including games, crafts and cooking and an opportunity to make new friends. All children receive a drink and a snack! Please note this is currently not in operation due to Covid restrictions.
