Colwall Community Hub

rita.colwallparish@gmail.com •  Colwall Park Hotel, Colwall, WR13 6QG

We're a friendly group of like-minded people, who want to make a difference in the lives of others, through social opportunities, in our local community.

We meet on the first Monday of every month at the Colwall Park Hotel, from 3pm until 5pm.  Our hub invites great speakers, from local services, who come along to let us know what they do.  We're here to help you
connect to information and support you may need, which is on your doorstep.

We'd like to make a difference by...

  • Helping people to find sources of help
  • Combating loneliness in a friendly, welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Arranging different activities, such as litter picking
  • Linking together the existing groups in our village
  • Supporting the local food bank
  • Organising community events
  • Having fun

As a Talk Community Hub we’re here to offer a welcoming community space for children to be entertained and for parents to learn about handling their big emotions!

Come along on Thursdays during term time, from 10am to 12pm, and be supported with the joys and challenges of parenting, while helping your children explore their own challenges and feelings in our very own interactive puppet shows!

Our “Little Pickles Performing Arts for Exploring Big Emotions” are stories and role play sessions for children and parents.  After the show, let your children create their own puppet scenarios, while you have a cuppa and a chat with other parents.

There will also be support from our counsellor and mindfulness expert, and an opportunity to chat and help to access information to connect you to activities, events and services in your local area and across the county.
