Christmas shoebox appeal

Help bring joy, necessities, and hope
As we approach the festive season, the Hereford Branch of the Association of Ukrainians in Great Britain (AUGB) extends its heartfelt gratitude to all who generously contributed to the Ukraine Christmas Shoebox Appeal in 2022.
People’s kindness helped send 500 Christmas shoeboxes to children in Ukraine, filled with presents, sweets, clothes, games, and school supplies.
This year, we’re all invited to join once again in making a difference in the lives of these children, by packing a Christmas shoebox, to reach Ukraine before Christmas.
How to Pack your Box
- Find an old Shoebox and fill it with goodies (toys, games, school supplies, toiletries, clothes, or sweets). Please avoid including fresh foods or fruit.
- Optionally, add a note or Christmas card for the recipient inside of the box. Please refrain from including personal details.
- Cover it in lovely wrapping paper (tape and ribbon at the ready).
- Clearly write the gender and age group you intend the box for on the outside of the box.
- Drop off your shoebox between Tuesday and Friday (10am – 4pm), or on a Saturday (10am - 2pm) at Hereford Help for Ukraine, Unit 37, Three Elms Trading Estate, Hereford, HR4 9PU. The last day for donations is Friday 1 December.
