Herefordshire Armed Forces Week

It's Armed Forces Week from 17 to 24 June 2023, when the nation acknowledges the service and commitment of its service men and woman, veterans and service families.

The county’s communities have come together to create a week long programme of different events to show their support for our Armed Forces personnel, veterans, service families and cadets.

Throughout the week Herefordshire welcomes flag raising ceremonies, a museum open day, talks and exhibitions, as well as a football festival and NMITE Military to Business showcase.

The programme of events includes:

Saturday 17 June
Herefordshire Coronation Cadet Review, Castle Green, Hereford

Sunday 18 June
Herefordshire Light Infantry Museum Open Day

Monday 19 June
Flag Raising Ceremonies in Bromyard, Hereford, Ledbury, Leominster, Kington and Ross-on-Wye

Monday 19 June
Laguna's Spitfire Legacy: talk at The Courtyard, Hereford

Monday 19 June to Monday 3 July
Art 4 Veterans Exhibition

Thursday 22 June
NIMITE Military to Business Showcase

Saturday 24 June
Armed Forces Day Army Football Festival
