Her Majesty The Queen will celebrate her Platinum Jubilee this year, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom.

To celebrate this significant anniversary, an extended four day UK bank holiday weekend from Thursday 2 June to Sunday 5 June will take place, with national and local events to recognise Her Majesty's 70-year reign.

National events over the bank holiday weekend include Trooping the Colour, Platinum Jubilee Beacon, Service of Thanksgiving, Platinum Party at the Palace, and The Big Jubilee Lunch.

Communities across Herefordshire will also be holding local celebrations, including lots of activities at libraries in the county.

If you're having a street party or big lunch for Platinum Jubilee bank holiday weekend make sure you add it to the Jubilee map and let everyone know! Add your event or find one near you on the Platinum Jubilee interactive map. The web page also contains lots of fun activities, templates, and downloadable recipes to help with your celebrations.

Want to hold your own event?
